We are thrilled to announce an exciting new addition to our dance holiday lineup: a Line Dance holiday specifically designed for beginners and improvers! This unique experience is unlike anything we’ve offered before, and it’s perfect for those who want to explore the world of line dancing in a fun and supportive environment.
Many people think line dancing is country music, but it’s so much more than that. Our Line Dance holiday will show you the modern and diverse side of this dance style. You’ll learn routines that incorporate funky moves, waltz, cha cha steps, and much more to different types of music. It’s a fantastic way to enjoy dancing, as everyone performs choreographed steps together, creating an exhilarating and unified dance experience. You will learn from the beginning and you don´t need a partner for this.
To add even more variety and fun to your holiday, we will also offer additional classes in tap dance and Irish dance. These sessions are designed to introduce you to new styles and techniques, ensuring that your holiday is filled with learning and laughter.

We include 16 hours of dance Workshops in line dance, and in addition classes in Irish Dance and American Tap dance, nightly entertainment and time to enjoy the nearby beach, shop, swim or just relax with a cocktail to the backdrop of the rolling Mediterranean sea.

Located on the central Eastern coastline, Spain’s Costa Blanca is a popular destination for tourists who arrive every summer to take advantage of the warm climate, sun-drenched beaches, laid-back lifestyle and lively evening culture. Calpe is situated approximately 60km from Alicante airport. With around 13.000 inhabitants, this unassuming former fishing village has become a popular resort. A distinguishing feature of the town is the “Penon de Ifach”, an imposing rock which rises from the sea and creates a unique landscape for this coastal resort.
Calpe’s two main beaches, the Cantal Roig and the Playa Arenal, are renowned for their long stretches of fine sand and clear waters, perfect for swimming and also popular with surfers. Protection from the wind by surrounding mountains means that the town’s beaches generally remain warm and the sea calm.
The port comes alive in the afternoon as the daily catch makes its way inland and diners are invited to sample the fresh local seafood for dinner in one of the many restaurants surrounding the harbour. As well as a good choice of restaurants serving local specialities (the Valencian Paella is a must-try!), there is a good selection of international dining choices including Argentinian, Italian and other European cuisine. Calpe boasts some fantastic bars and clubs playing a wide range of live music including Flamenco bars and karaoke pubs which remain open until the early hours of the morning. For a wilder evening, Benidorm is just 20 minutes by bus.
Shopping in Calpe offers the usual traditional local handicrafts such as wickerwork, ceramics and leather goods, as well as a wide assortment of souvenirs jewellery and trinkets.
Diamante Beach – Hotel**** (Half Board) (Included)
The AR Diamante Beach Spa is located on the Levante beach in the town of Calpe, a stunning location on the Costa Blanca in Spain’s Alicante province. The hotel’s unique style is characterised by its spectacular glass facade that lends an impressive source of natural illumination to the carefully designed interior.
There are no less than three outdoor pools, surrounded by attractive terraces dotted with palm trees and just a few steps from the seashore. The locally-renowned, modern Spa is one of the best on the Costa Blanca and has an additional indoor pool with water features as well as Turkish baths, sauna and an array of treatments. It has been totally renovated and opned to the public again in May 2013. There is also a gym and access to a nearby golf course.
Dining options include two a la carte restaurants serving local and international cuisine, a buffet restaurant, cafeteria and piano bar.
All 283 double rooms are attractively decorated and have large balconies, air conditioning, safe, wi-fi internet connection and private facilities and hairdryer.
Tapas and raciones: A good way of keeping your costs down it to eat ‘tapas’ by way of a meal. Tapas bars are an intrinsic part of Spanish culture. ‘Tapa’ translates as ‘lid’. The idea is that you keep you hunger in check by ordering small plates of food. In tapas bars and in many restaurants you can also order ‘raciones’. A ración is a plate of one type of dish (either meat or fish or salad etcetera). The idea is for a group of people to order a ‘ración’ each and for the group to then share the dishes between themselves. It’s a great way to be able to try different dishes! If you would prefer to eat a sit down three course meal, we suggest that you eat at a restaurant with a set menu. The dinner in the hotel is included.

Spectacular entertainer Maggie Gallagher is one of the top line dancing instructors in England. She travels the world extensively hosting workshops and she was honoured to teach in Texas at the 1999 World Line Dancing Championships and at the Tarheel Festival in USA in September 2000. Subsequent trips across Europe, Japan, Singapore and Australia have confirmed Maggie’s firm foothold in Linedance across the Globe. Maggie has appeared in the video ‘Lionel Dancing’ with Lionel Blair along with other dance instructors and can be seen instructing dances that she has written, including the very popular dance “Magatina Cha Cha” which was choreographed by Maggie and Tina Neale and danced to music by the Dean Brothers. Maggie has seen a large number of her own choreographed line dances hit the “Line Dance Charts”, with dances “Just a Memory”, “Hot Love” and Na Mara” all huge smash hits, still filling the floor at most socials in the UK and abroad. Her mammoth, award winning 2001 dance “Mony Mony” was the first ever line dance to enter the charts at No 1. Maggie was honoured with being voted by Linedancer Magazine readers “Female Linedance Personality of the Year” 1999, 2000 and 2001 and was totally thrilled to also collect “Crystal Boots” for “Beginner Dance Of The Year ” (Just A Memory), “Choreographer Of The Year”, “Overall Dance Of The Year” (Mony Mony), and also “Instructor Of The Year”. Maggie has been involved in many forms of dance throughout her spectacular career including tap, ballet, modern and Irish dancing (where she toured alongside Colin Dunne and Jean Butler, who later went on to star in River Dance).

The Line Dance Socials will be filled endless fun, laughter and practice and dance what you learned so far. Maggie G. loves to mix with the crowd and will cater the party games and music to your tastes.
All the evening line dancing takes place in a private room in your fabulous four star hotel.
