Dance teacher/choreographer Linz B will be teaching
West Coast Swing. This is a fantastic holiday in the
sun ideal for beginners, improvers and experienced dancers.
Linz will be joined by Mark & Jax for the Modern Jive component of the week.
We bring you a wonderful opportunity to learn or perfect new dance skills,
meet like-minded people and keep fit in the comfort of a fantastic 4* Hotel in the sunny Paphos / Cyprus.
We include at least 12 hours of West Coast Swing and Modern Jive classes.There will be dancing every night in the hotel in a room with wooden floor.

Final Evening Farewell fancy dress freestyle, theme TBC . The evening will include a cabaret at 10pm (beware – you might be in it!).

Pioneer Beach – Hotel**** (Half Board) (Included)
The Constantinou Bros Pioneer Beach Hotel**** is a four star hotel offers its guests exceptional comfort and a wealth of amenities in an atmosphere of genuine friendliness and hospitality. Elegance and style is apparent when you step into the cool interior of this attractively designed hotel. It has its own sandy beach and resplendent gardens. It is located in one of the quietest parts of Paphos town, only a few minutes walking distance from the tourist and city centre and very close to the historical monuments, the medieval castle, and the picturesque fishing harbour.
The Pioneer offers well appointed bedrooms featuring their own private balcony with sea or mountain views; each has its own private bathroom, hairdryer, international direct dial telephone, radio, mini fridge, climatization system, colour satellite TV. Full housekeeping facilities and room service are at your disposal and the hotel has its own hairdressing salon, shops and newsagents.

Expect an abundance of grilled meats, freshly caught fish, and classic dishes like souvlaki, kleftiko, and moussaka. Meze-style dining is a must-try – a generous spread of small plates featuring local cheeses, olives, dips, and more. Whether you’re enjoying a relaxed meal at the hotel or venturing out to a nearby taverna, Cypriot hospitality and flavourful cooking are at the centre of every dining experience.

West Coast Swing: Enjoy a progressive journey though West Coast Swing with
particular emphasis on the foundations and good solid basics. In addition to
mastering all of the basic moves, with an emphasis on musicality. You will
learn variations, patterns, and the vital techniques to master the unique
connection and smooth elasticity of WCS. We will incorporate fun solo
routines, designed to enhance footwork, styling, body isolation and timing.
We’ll also have some fun routines and performance opportunities. The
evening freestyles will have fantastic music for West Coast Swing, Blues,
and Modern Jive.
There will be a theme party on the final night (theme tbc)
Beginners: Tuition for complete beginners will be incorporated into the
syllabus, making this the ideal holiday for anyone interested in dance,
regardless of ability. There will also be more challenging options for more
experienced dancers.
Dance venue: All the dancing conveniently takes place in the hotel in a room
with a wooden floor.
WEST COAST SWING – Linz & Rob
Linz has a background mostly in Modern Jive and West Coast Swing. Passionate about choreography, musicality and performance, she has won numerous national competitive titles. She has taught, performed and judged at dance events worldwide. Linz is delighted to be joined by Rob as demo, who loves the styling, technicalities and creativity of WCS.
MODERN JIVE – Mark & Jax
Mark & Jax teach and run Leroc Modern Jive at Planet Leroc in Wales. Mark has been dancing modern jive since 1993 and Jax since 1997. They first competed together in 1999, and since then have won multiple awards in both showcase and freestyle categories. Together they have lots of experience in teaching, choreographing and competing. Their classes will be suitable for all levels and great fun!
You will enjoy a progressive journey though West Coast Swing over the week, with particular emphasis on the foundations and good solid basics. We will incorporate fun solo routines, designed to enhance footwork, styling, body isolation and timing. The evening freestyles will have fantastic music for west coast swing, Blues and modern jive, with many ‘crossover’ tracks (i.e. suitable for both genres of dance).
There will be freestyle dancing every night in our private venue.
